Job summary

Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd, a Cosco Shipping subsidiary, is seeking an Accounts Executive to support the full spectrum of Accounts Payable processes in Singapore. You will verify invoices, process payments, reconcile AP transactions, and assist with month-end closing to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, has at least 2 years in AP, can multi-task and communicate well.

Qualifications

• Diploma / degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Able to multi-task.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing the full spectrum of Accounts Payable function.
• Verify and process invoice; issue cheque to make payment
• Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions
• Track expenses and process expenses reports
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Assist with month end closing
• Assist to execute and ensure strict compliance of Singapore financial reporting requirements which includes supporting local statutory audit, tax and GST for Cogent entities
• Assist superior in financial reporting i.e. financial reporting, variances analysis, budget & forecast etc.

About the role

The Accounts Executive will assist in performing the full spectrum of Accounts Payable function for Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) Co., Ltd and owner of one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1 Logistics Hub.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing the full spectrum of Accounts Payable function
