Job summary

JUN SHENG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an diligent accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, cashflow forecasting, and monthly reporting.

You will ensure GST submissions, CPF contributions, and smooth year-end financial processes are completed accurately. With at least 2 years in a similar role and a Finance/Accountancy focus, you will work in a highly digitized environment using MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Meticulous with initiative and proactive attitude.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in a digitized work environment; MS Word/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts.
• Prepare weekly cashflow forecast and ensure funds are available.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Submit quarterly GST returns and CPF contributions.
• Coordinate annual financial reporting and bank reconciliations.
• Handle AP/AR, payroll, and liaise with stakeholders.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts
• Prepare and manage weekly cashflow forecast and ensure availability of funds
• Prepare monthly reports for management
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns
• Prepare and submit CPF
• Manage and coordinate annual financial reporting
• Handle AP/AR, payment collection, payroll and bank reconciliation
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (other depts, customers, suppliers, banks etc)
• Ensure timely and accurate closure of books
• Manage the workflow of the accounting process to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and entries
• Implement industry best practices and ensure compliance with Accounting Reporting Standards
• Develop and improve controls, policies, procedures and systems
• Handle other administrative duties as required (filing, banking, mailing etc)

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience or in similar capacity.
• Highly meticulous, reliable and takes initiative to make things happen
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to work in a highly digitized environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
