Job summary

YYCircle (SG) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced finance professional to manage the full accounting cycle, from source documents to financial statements, and to deliver timely reports for consolidation and management review.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy/Finance is required or preferred.
• Professional qualification such as CA/ACCA/CPA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Solid knowledge of SFRS/FRS, GST and corporate taxation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts from source documents to financial statements including A/P, A/R, GL and fixed assets.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing and prepare management accounts, schedules and variance analysis.
• Prepare timely financial and management reports for group consolidation and review.
• Prepare and submit GST and corporate tax filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, vendors and regulators.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external audit processes and audited statements.
• Carry out balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and detailed account analysis.
• Maintain accounting records in compliance with SFRS/FRS and related standards.
• Monitor cash flow, payments and collections for smooth operations.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

Job description

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible to:

Job Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts from source documents to financial statements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.

• Perform monthly and year-end closing, including preparation of management accounts, schedules, and variance analysis.

• Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports for group consolidation and management review.

• Prepare and submit statutory filings, including GST returns and corporate income tax.

• Liaise independently with external auditors, tax agents, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

• Prepare audit schedules and support external audit processes, including audited financial statements.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and detailed account analysis.

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS).

• Monitor cash flow, manage payments, collections matters to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA is an added advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Finance/Accounting.

• Strong hands-on experience in maintaining a full set of accounts independently.

• Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS), GST, and corporate taxation.

• Highly independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Able to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.

• Meticulous, responsible, and confident with strong problem-solving skills.
