Tidy Maintenance & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a team of 5 in Singapore. You will guide the team, drive process improvements, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting across six entities.

Responsibilities include month-end close, GST compliance, cash flow management, and tax filings. The role requires strong people management, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks. Tuas-based office location.

Competenze

• Diploma in Accounting or above.
• Experience leading an accounting team is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate financial data.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Mansioni

• Report financials to General Manager and Business Owner.
• Oversee financial operations across 6 entities.
• Maintain accounts receivable/payable, GL, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet items.
• Review GST reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly/yearly reports.
• Manage daily cash flow projections and working capital across entities.
• Oversee corporate tax schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and secretaries.

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing team. The Accounting Manager is expected to lead a team of 5. The ideal candidate should be a strong people manager who can guide and collaborate effectively with team members. The Accounting Manager should also take a keen interest in process improvement and take the lead on such projects.

Key responsibilities

• Report the company's financials to the General Manager and Business Owner.
• Oversee financial operations across 6 entities.
• Possess a strong eye for detail to ensure accounts are correctly maintained in the books (including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet items).
• Review GST reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and participate in month-end closing activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports. Manage all activities necessary to close books on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Manage daily cash flow projections, monitoring working capital, and overseeing bank balances across the 6 entities.
• Take charge of tax-related matters, including the preparation of schedules and documentation required for corporate tax filings and audits.
• Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, auditors, corporate secretaries, and tax agents.
• Take the lead in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate collection of revenue, including Small Claims Tribunal management.
• Oversee the scheduled vendor payment runs.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting or above.
• Prior experience managing and leading an accounting team is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems (QuickBooks).
• Tech-savvy and willing to integrate AI and automation tools for workflow improvements.
• Willing to work in Tuas (Nearest MRT: Gul Circle MRT).
