Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to lead the full accounting lifecycle and HR operations within a marine industry setup. You will oversee monthly closings, tax matters, payroll and onboarding, while driving ERP and HR system improvements.

The role requires strong accounting experience, HR administration skills, and hands-on leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• 2–3 years HR experience, payroll and lifecycle administration.
• Experience with ERP implementations, data migration, requirements gathering, testing or go-live activities.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST, tax and payroll requirements; ability to work with external advisers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review full set of accounts: GL, receivables, payables, invoicing, payments, expense claims, bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly and annual closings, financial reporting, schedules and reconciliations; analyze budget variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, GST, corporate tax matters and external audit coordination.
• Oversee routine accounting work and maintain internal controls; review transactions and escalate issues.
• HR operations: payroll, attendance, leave, records and expense claims processing; recruitment and onboarding.
