Job Description:

Reporting to the GAC SG ACR Tower Assistant Manager, the accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the financial statements for multiple legal entities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaises with external auditors and consultants to complete annual statutory audits.
• Prepares audit documentation, account analysis, financial statements, and statutory reports for US GAAP and local requirements.
• Responds to stakeholder inquiries referencing local GAAP.
• Prepares Statutory Accounting and Reporting (STAR) package and checklist.
• Prepares local GAAP journal entries, ensuring proper support and recording.
• Identifies root causes of audit issues, develops corrective actions, and ensures timely implementation.
• Handles monthly closing activities, including balance sheet risk review and variance analysis.
• Partners with business owners and facilitates monthly close calls.
• Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follows up on concerns.
• Supports process improvements and training updates.
• Assists in government surveys and other reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
