Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will maintain accuracy in financial data, prepare forecasts, and handle bank reconciliations. A degree in Accountancy or Finance with at least 3 years of experience is required, along with familiarity with SAP and proficiency in both English and Mandarin. Excellent Excel skills are essential, and the role involves interaction with various financial entities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the full set of accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and submit month-end financial reporting packs.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance, highlight key variances, and investigate exceptions.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts for management review and approval.
  • Manage cash forecasts and submit monthly HFM reports to Japan.
  • Process payments, perform bank reconciliations, and follow up on collections.
  • Coordinate office supplier arrangements and support treasury/loan activities.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretary, and bankers as required.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
