Job summary

Eng Teknologi Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a knowledgeable finance professional in Singapore to manage monthly close activities focused on inventory accounting.

You will reconcile sub-ledgers with GL, roll up standard costs quarterly, and prepare monthly inventory reports and provisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and closing processes.
• Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and cost analysis is preferred.

• Perform monthly closing activities, particularly in the area of inventory accounting, which includes reconciling inventory sub-ledgers with GL, ensure inventory transactions are all properly captured, performing standard cost roll up on quarterly basis and prepare reports for inventory provision and aging on a monthly basis.
• Work closely with operation team to carry out stock take on a quarterly basis.
