BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is hiring an Accountant on a 1-year contract based in Loyang, Singapore. Working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with company transport provided to several areas.

The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and business analysis to kickstart your finance career. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accountancy (or equivalent), is CPA-eligible or pursuing CPA, and is proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• CPA qualification or willingness to pursue CPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or Hyperion is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and identify trends.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Manage revenue accounting records, follow up on unbilled invoices, and assist with fixed assets.
• Support internal and external audits, SOX testing, and internal control reviews.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Job Details

Contract: 1 year, renewable/extendable/convertible depending on performance and business needs.

Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: Loyang

Transport: Company bus provided to and from work, covering Jurong, Woodlands, Yishun, Sengkang, Bedok, Tampines and Pasir Ris.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and identify financial trends.
