You’ll play a critical role in the financial health and success of the organization — ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with laws and regulations. Your role supports not only compliance with local regulations (e.g., GST, FRS) but also provides the financial clarity needed for data‑driven decisions, strategic planning, and sustainable growth. As we scale, you’ll also play a key role in informed decision‑making, financial transparency, and long‑term planning.

What you’ll do

Daily Accounting Operations

• Handle AR/AP entries, managing payment schedules, and tracking outstanding balances.
• Record bank transactions, matching bank statements with internal records, and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions.

Month-End Closing Support

• Prepare journal entries and ensure all transactions for the month are properly recorded and classified.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.

Regulatory Compliance

• Preparing and submitting required tax returns, and ensuring tax amounts are correctly calculated.
• Ensuring financial reports comply with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and meet all legal and regulatory requirements.

Process & System Efficiency

• Maintain accounting SOPs; propose ideas to speed up recurring tasks (e.g. automation, spreadsheet formulas).
• Use accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to manage daily workflows efficiently.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Familiarity with Singapore FRS, GST, and accounting documentation standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
