Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the finance team in Singapore. You will handle full sets of accounts, monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and prepare management reports, GST, intercompany reconciliations, and budgeting/forecasting with variance analysis.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance, professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA, at least five years of relevant IFRS/SFRS experience, and SAP or ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance.
• ACCA, CPA or CA is good to have.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge in IFRS/SFRS.
• Prior experience in audit firm is highly preferred.
• Experienced with SAP or ERP system is good to have.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts and closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Prepare management reports and variance analysis.
• Manage AR/AP invoicing and GST compliance.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and assist budgeting/forecasting.
• Monitor cashflow and prepare cashflow forecasts.
• Liaise with banks on treasury matters and support process improvements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an established international engineering and technology group with operations across multiple markets and a portfolio of advanced manufacturing businesses. Currently, they are looking for an Accountant to join their finance team.

Reporting to the manager, the Accountant will be responsible for full sets of account, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and closing activities, managing AR/AP invoicing, preparing management reports, preparing GST, transfer pricing, intercompany reconciliations, assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting process, and variance analysis.

The Accountant will also monitor cashflow, and prepare cashflow forecasts, liaise with banks on treasury related matters, and support finance process improvement initiatives or software implementations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance
• Recognized professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is good to have
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in IFRS/SFRS
• Prior experience in audit firm is highly preferred
• Experienced with SAP or ERP system is good to have
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table and Vlookup
