Job summary

SYM INVESTMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-set accounting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.

The role requires overseeing AP/AR, GL, month-end close, external audits, GST/tax compliance, cash flow monitoring, and driving process improvements to strengthen internal controls and support strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
• Proven experience in full-set accounting and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements to support informed decision-making.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain timely financial reporting.
• Coordinate external audits by liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and smooth audit processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, GST/tax regulations, and statutory requirements to maintain legal compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support financial stability and planning.
• Review and improve accounting processes to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management in strategic planning and performance evaluation.
