Job summary

Lumens Group, a Singapore-based mobility company, is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. You will help implement robust processes, ensure data accuracy, and support the move to NetSuite, bridging operations and finance to improve reporting and controls.

You will prepare monthly financial statements, assist with month-end close and audits, and collaborate with business teams to design auditable processes as the Group scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or professional qualification (ACCA/CPA).
• 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is an added advantage.
• Intermediate Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Comfortable with month-end closing timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in business partnering, processes and controls and improve internal controls.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for group entities.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Support audits and tax work, including schedules and coordination with auditors.
• Assist migration to NetSuite, including data preparation, testing, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure NetSuite processes are aligned with operations.

Your Role on Our Journey

This role is central to Lumens Group’s finance transformation. You will help put proper processes and systems in place, ensure data is accurate and reliable, and support the move to NetSuite. By bridging business operations and finance, your work will directly improve reporting quality, strengthen controls, and support better decision-making as the Group scales.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures

1. Business Partnering, Processes & Controls
   • Work closely with business teams to design and improve finance processes with proper internal controls.
   • Gather, reconcile, and organise data from both manual and system sources for financial and management reporting.
   • Help turn day-to-day business activities into clear, auditable financial information.
   • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements as the business grows.
2. Accounting, Reporting & NetSuite Migration
   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Lumens Group entities.
   • Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
   • Support audit and tax work, including schedules, filings, and coordination with auditors and tax agents.
   • Support the migration to Oracle NetSuite, including data preparation, testing, and post-go-live support.
   • Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure NetSuite processes are practical, controlled, and aligned with operations.

What Makes You a Perfect Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, or a professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others to achieve shared goals.
• Proactive and able to work well under deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is an added advantage.
• Intermediate Excel skills (e.g. PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Comfortable with month-end closing timelines.
