Job summary

Straits Marine Supply Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant to lead the accounts department and provide robust financial support for strategic decision-making. The role covers end-to-end accounting, IFRS compliance, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in audit or accounting within a dynamic MNC, with strong proficiency in Microsoft tools and Zoho. Flexibility for growth and collaboration with shareholders is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy (any field) required.
• At least 5 years of working experience in audit/accounting in a dynamic MNC.
• Experience with IFRS and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts department which provides effective and efficient accounting services and financial support to the organization.
• To record account receivables, account payables, inventory, payroll, fixed assets and all relevant financial reports.
• To ensure the business is running smooth financial, compliance with IFRS standard (Receive unqualified opinion from the Auditor), company policy and provide help to shareholders to have big pictures to make better decision with financial information.
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Responsible for full sets of accounts (end-to-end).
• Preparation of monthly and yearly reports (management and financial reports).
• Assistant Accountant post are welcome.
