Yantron (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation. You will prepare invoices, monitor collections, and ensure timely payments.
The role requires liaising with China HQ and collaborating with internal teams on reporting. The candidate should have a degree in Accountancy or Finance, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Excel.
Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliation.
Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely payment.
Manage the accounts payable process, including payment processing, reconciliation, and Statement of Account (SOA) review.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports and reconcile intercompany balances.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting records.
Prepare monthly and yearly financial schedules and reports for management review and audit purposes.
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Liaise with China HQ on accounting and financial matters.
Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and accounting requirements.
Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Support tax-related and other statutory reporting requirements when required.
Oversee and provide guidance to the Account Executive on day-to-day accounting matters.
Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Degree in Accountancy or Finance, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in handling a full set of accounts.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in QuickBooks will be an added advantage.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Meticulous, organised, proactive, and responsible with strong attention to detail.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Proficient and fluent in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Candidates available immediately or at short notice will have an advantage.
16 days of annual leave, with an additional 2 days for every 2 years of service, capped at 21 days.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, with performance bonus.
