Job summary

BIO BASIC ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled finance professional to manage the full set of accounts and oversee financial reporting in Singapore.

The role covers month-end close, budgeting, cash flow management, GST and tax compliance, and liaison with auditors and banks. Fluent in English and Chinese, you will provide analyses to guide business decisions.

A degree in accounting and 5+ years of experience are required; CA/ACCA/CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Strong hands on experience in full set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Fluent in written Chinese and English

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments and bank reconciliations.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, AR/AP ageing, budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking, payments and funding requirements.
• Review and process supplier, employee and other Company payments, including urgent payments when required, while ensuring proper supporting documents and approvals are obtained.
• Use Corppass and relevant Singapore Government portals for authorised business, finance, tax and regulatory matters.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cost control and budget-versus-actual analysis.
• Provide Management with financial analysis, cost analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Manage GST, corporate tax, IRAS requirements, statutory audit and other Singapore regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, banks and other external professional parties.

About the role

About you
