Job summary

GMP Recruitment Services (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced finance professional in Singapore to support general ledger, month-end close and financial reporting for a manufacturing multinational.You will handle fixed asset accounting, inventory-related processes, and assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvements while collaborating across finance and other departments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong IFRS/SFRS knowledge.
• Experience with reconciliation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger and financial reporting including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing processes and financial schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, transfers, disposals and depreciation.
• Assist with audits, internal controls, and statutory reporting.

Job description

• Support General Ledger and financial reporting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, financial schedules, budgeting and forecasting.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset additions, capitalization, transfers, disposals, depreciation, CAPEX/CIP/WBS accounting, reconciliations and physical asset verification.

• Support inventory and consignment accounting, covering raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods and inventory movements, including stock reconciliation, valuation, provisions, stock takes and variance investigations.

• Assist with finance compliance, audits and internal controls, including GST and tax matters, audit schedules, statutory reporting, external surveys, documentation and strengthening finance procedures.

• Contribute to process improvements and finance projects by improving efficiency, accuracy and controls, while providing cross-coverage, knowledge sharing and support for ad-hoc assignments across Finance and other departments.

Requirement:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 4-6 years of relevant accounting/Finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS, SAP/ERP and Excel, with good analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills; experience in inventory, audit and internal controls is an advantage.
