Job summary

KF Employment Consultants in Singapore seeks an accounting professional to manage financial bookkeeping, transactions, and payroll across multi-client engagements.

You will handle ledgers, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and assist in monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, GST filings, and year-end audit support using cloud tools and MS Excel for data analysis.

Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance with GAAP/IFRS knowledge and outsourced accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data & Transaction Management: process daily accounting entries, invoices, payroll allocations.

• Compliance & Reporting: prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and GST returns.

Company Industry: a leading manufacturer and supplier of surgical instruments and medical devices in the Southeast Asian

Location: Near Balestier

Salary: $3400 to 4500

Working Days: 5.5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

Financial Bookkeeping & Transactions

• Data & Transaction Management: Process daily accounting entries, invoices, receipts, and payroll allocations accurately using specialized accounting systems.
• Ledger Management: Manage ledger schedules, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) to maintain healthy client cash flows.
• Bank & Account Reconciliations: Regularly audit and reconcile bank statements, financial documents, and complex balance sheets to proactively flag discrepancies.

Compliance & Reporting

• Financial Reporting: Compile and deliver detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, trial balances, and management reports for client review.
• Tax & GST Compliance: Assist with the preparation, review, and timely filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns and other local corporate tax obligations.
• Audit Preparation: Maintain neat, organized digital filing structures to fully support ad-hoc financial analysis and statutory year-end audit requirements.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum Qualifications: A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related discipline.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of basic corporate accounting principles, tax rules, and international standards (GAAP / IFRS).
• Industry Experience: Prior exposure to corporate secretarial firms, bookkeeping vendors, or outsourced accounting environments handling multiple external clients is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Accounting Software: High proficiency operating cloud-based tools like Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting platforms.
• Microsoft Office 365: Advanced capabilities in MS Excel (specifically for data analysis, building financial formulas, and macros) alongside Word, Teams, and Outlook.
