Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a technician to install, repair, and commission cable systems, including voice and data cabling as well as fiber optics. Candidates should possess an NITEC in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and a Class 3 driving license is a plus. The role involves troubleshooting cabling issues and assisting in routine maintenance. This position is full-time, located in Kranji/Yew Tee, with working hours from 8am-5pm or 8.30am-5.30pm. Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronic, or IT.
• Class 3 driving license would be advantageous.
• Work-related experience preferred.

Salary Range: $ 2500 - $ 3500
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm / 8.30am - 5.30pm

Job Description

• Install, repair, test & commission cable systems (voice / data / fibre optics)
• Performs termination and testing of new cabling
• Prepare / Install cable pathways & supports
• Assist in the preparation of tools & materials used for daily work assignments
• Troubleshoot cabling system issues & perform repairs & maintenance
• Assist co-workers with installation & routine maintenance of structured cabling systems
• Work closely with client to manage schedule operations of assigned duties

Requirements

• NITEC (Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology / Electronic / IT ) or work- related experience
• Class 3 driving license would be advantageous
