Job summary

China Telecom Singapore Innovation Research Institute seeks an AI Researcher focusing on computer vision or robotics to advance Physical Intelligence. Qualifications

• Proven R&D experience in computer vision or robotics.
• Hands-on CV/model development and multimodal modeling with LLMs.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python or C/C++.
• Knowledge of Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models is a plus.
• PhD or equivalent practical experience required or preferred.
• Ability to drive research from concept to delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Publications in top venues (AAAI, CVPR, ICML, NeurIPS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research in CV and multimodal learning to develop novel algorithms and reduce inference overhead.
• Develop AI solutions for low-latency, reliable operation over telecom systems.
• Design and optimize AI models for robotic manipulation in constrained environments.
• Collaborate with researchers to define directions, build prototypes, and translate results into practical solutions.
• Stay current with advances in telecom AI, robotics, and Physical AI.
