Job summary

China Telecom Singapore Innovation and Research Institute (CTSIRI) is seeking a Physical AI (Edge Intelligence) Research Scientist to advance real-world physical intelligence. You will lead research, adaptation, and deployment of foundation AI models for low-latency execution on edge physical systems, bridging frontier AI with hardware implementation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or research Master's with strong publication record.
• Strong foundation in Deep Learning, Multimodal AI, or Foundation Models.
• Publications in conferences/journals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, fine-tuning and adaptation of multimodal foundation models for edge physical systems.
• Implement model compression, quantisation, and graph optimisations for low-latency edge hardware.
• Deploy and benchmark AI models on physical edge testbeds with multi-modal inputs.
• Use simulations for synthetic data generation, pre-training and domain adaptation.
