Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop new business opportunities and promote industrial automation, motor and motion control products to customers and distributors.

Based in Singapore at Macpherson, you will handle technical discussions, prepare proposals, provide product training, and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation, with driving licence preferred.

Sales Engineer

Location: Macpherson

Working days : Monday - Friday (830am to 530pm)

Salary: $4000 - $6000 + Commission

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with direct customers, distributors and business partners
• Promote industrial automation, motor and motion control products to new and existing customers
• Understand customers' technical and application requirements and recommend suitable product solutions
• Prepare product introductions, technical proposals and solution recommendations based on customer needs
• Provide technical support to customers and assist in resolving product application issues
• Follow up closely on customer projects from initial enquiry through technical discussion, quotation and project progress
• Conduct product and technical training for distributors, business partners and customers when required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow account sales
• Gather market and customer feedback and provide input on product requirements and new market opportunities
• Work closely with internal technical, product and marketing teams to support customer requirements
• Conduct regular customer visits and outdoor sales activities

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related discipline
• With relevant experience within the industrial automation, motor or motion control industry is preferred
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence and own vehicle is preferred
