Job summary

SIA Engineering Company Ltd, Asia’s leading MRO provider, seeks an IT-focused Finance Officer to support hardware/software setup, onboarding/offboarding, and user access control. You will drive internal IT projects, coordinate with business divisions, and help digitalisation initiatives aligned with the Finance Division roadmap.

Ideal candidate holds an IT diploma/degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• IT or related Diploma or Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good communications, problem solving and project management skills.
• Team player, self-motivated with positive working attitude.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in system design and analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SAP products is beneficial.

Job Description

Reporting to Projects & Continuous Improvement Manager, the Officer plays an integral role in Finance Division in ensuring projects align with company-wide continuous improvement initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for hardware and software setup assisting with installation / deployment of laptops, printers and other IT equipment including resolving issues encountered by users

• Point of contact between IT Departments of the company and the Business Divisions

• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights in various systems and applications

• Ensure Staff on-boarding and offboarding processes are executed efficiently

• Undertake regular reviews on user access and controls

• Initiate, support and monitor systems and continuous improvement projects for the Division and ensure it aligns with company-wide continuous improvement initiatives and Finance Division roadmap

• Coordinate digitalisation projects through process simplification, introduce concepts like report automation, process automation like RPA

• Engage key finance business stakeholders, gather requirements and translate them into tender or user requirements specifications

• Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Information Technology (IT) or related Diploma or Degree and with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Good communications, problem solving and project management skills

• Good team player, self-motivated with positive working attitude

• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and high-volume environment or ambiguous situations

• Applicant with prior experience in system design and analysis knowledge will be an added advantage

• Prefer to have background in Agile or Scrum Master practices and stakeholder management experience

• Good to have working experience in SAP products
