Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience as aircraft engine technician or inspector in MRO
• Diploma or degree in aerospace, aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related field
• Certification in adult training or instructional design preferred
• Deep familiarity with engine structures, teardown procedures and reading engine manuals

Responsibilities

• Develop Technical Curricula: design and update training programs for engine types (LEAP 1-A & 1-B) and module overhauls per OEM manuals
• Manage Hands-on & Digital Training: plan classroom lessons and practical training for MRO processes
• Manage On-the-Job Training: oversee apprentice paths, track sign-offs, deploy digital task cards
• Enforce Regulatory Compliance: align procedures with CAAS Part 145, EASA Part 145 or FAA regulations
• Conduct HF & EHS Briefings: train staff on Human Factors, EHS policies and workshop safety

Job Description

This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Technical Curricula: Design and update structured training programs for specific engine types (LEAP 1-A & 1-B) and module overhauls in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals.
• Manage Hands-on & Digital Training: Plan classroom lessons and practical, workshop-floor instruction on specialized MRO processes like borescope inspections, module disassembly, component rework, and engine test cell calibration.
• Manage On-the-Job Training (OJT): Oversee apprentice training paths, track task-card sign-offs, and deploy smart technology aids like electronic task cards.
• Enforce Strict Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all educational procedures strictly align with aviation airworthiness standards, such as CAAS Part 145, EASA Part-145, or FAA regulations.
• Conduct Human Factors & EHS Briefings: Train staff on Human Factors in aviation maintenance, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, and workshop safety to reduce operational errors.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an aircraft engine technician or inspector within an MRO environment.
• Possession of an Aircraft Maintenance License (such as CAAS B1.1) or equivalent is highly advantageous.
• Certification in adult training or instructional design (e.g., ACLP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Deep familiarity with engine structures, teardown procedures, Quality Management Systems (AS9110/AS9100), and interpreting complex engine manuals and technical drawings.
