TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support precision machining projects. You will create child part drawings, prepare BOMs for Requests for Drawings, and specify material sizes and treatments, ensuring accurate costing and documentation across engineering and production teams.

Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is required, along with strong attention to detail and teamwork to meet deadlines in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical or Precision Engineering.
• Basic understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, surface treatments, and materials.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Team player and willing to support engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Create child part drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Prepare Bills of Material (BOM) for RFD (Request for Drawing).
• Specify raw material sizes, surface treatments, sub-processes, and standard parts.
• Follow up with Supply Chain on supplier quotations.
• Consolidate and input costing data using company formats.
• Assist engineers in reviewing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Support ad-hoc engineering and manufacturing tasks as required.

Supports engineers in preparing drawings and costing data for precision machining projects. This role involves CAD drawing, BOM preparation, and coordination with Supply Chain to ensure accurate documentation and costing
