Job summary
VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled operator to run and maintain 5-axis machining centers with multi-pallet systems. You will ensure parts meet drawings and specifications, while supporting efficient production and safe operations.
Responsibilities include tool alignment, program execution, quality inspection, and routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Familiarity with Heidenhain controls, Soflex/Fastems is a plus, and strong adherence to 5S
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Heidenhain machine control system operation.
- Understanding of machining processes, tools, and fixture setup.
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection methods.
- Understanding GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with measurement tools.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain 5-axis machining centers with multi-pallet systems.
- Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand part dimensions.
- Produce parts according to drawings, specialization and instructions.
- Ensure shopfloor activities comply with documented procedures.
- Ensure product quality meets specifications as per drawings and process plans.
- Maintain 5S housekeeping and update progress documents.
