Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a security operations professional to monitor and protect critical systems around the clock. You will join a 24x7 operations team, handling incident detection, containment, and coordination with engineering and incident response colleagues.

The role emphasizes SOP adherence, thorough documentation, and strong communication to escalate and hand over incidents, while supporting secure production changes and deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years working in security operations or cybersecurity support environment.
• Familiar with security products and network devices.
• Strong discipline in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate incident documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for escalation, handovers, and coordination with incident response and engineering teams.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts to support a 24x7x365 continuous operational model.

Responsibilities

• Continuous 24x7x365 Security Monitoring: Maintain vigilant, continuous monitoring of security information, application health, and infrastructure alerts to detect potential threats or anomalies early.
• Shift Rotations & Coverage: Participate in 24x7 shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure continuous security monitoring and operational coverage.
• SOP-Based Incident Recovery: Execute standard operating procedure (SOP)-based remediation and containment procedures to neutralize threats efficiently.
• Security Batch & Log Processing: Monitor automated security batch processing, log pipelines, and resolve common pipeline or monitoring failures.
• Production Security Health Checks: Perform routine security posture and production health checks to ensure system integrity.
• Change & Deployment Support: Support secure production changes, security tooling deployments, and release verifications.
• Shift Handover & Documentation: Perform shift handover activities and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and operational tasks.
