Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Specialist in Singapore to monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power, HVAC, fire suppression, and cabling.

You will coordinate with the landlord for preventive maintenance and respond to alarms with prompt resolution. The role requires 3+ years in data centre facility management, strong ITIL-based incident/change management knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data centre facility management.
• Experience working in a high-pressured environment with 24x7 on-call responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and fire suppression systems in data centres.
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems and rack-and-stack is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem and change management based on ITIL best practices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in data centre operations within financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression and cabling.
• Coordinate with DC/Building landlord to schedule maintenance and address infrastructure issues.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Support off-office hours activities, including on-call duties and vendor coordination for repairs.
• Ensure strict adherence to data centre physical security procedures.
• Follow incident response procedures, track incidents to closure and communicate with stakeholders.
• Generate reports to management, including monthly performance and incident summaries.
