Job summary

1-Net in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Engineer to manage data center operations and maintenance. You will perform daily facility activities, monitor critical systems, and ensure serviceability of equipment.

The role requires 24x7 rotating shift availability, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with external contractors on site at Chai Chee or Woodlands. Prior experience in data center facilities management is welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree graduates in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• 2+ years of data center facilities management or M&E experience.
• Senior Engineer role may be considered for more experience.
• Good technical and functional skills in facilities management and operations.
• Able to commit to 24x7 rotating shift duty.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working location: 1-Net (East) or 1-Net (North).

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily maintenance and operations of data center facilities to ensure serviceability of all active and redundancy equipment.
• Respond to Mechanical and Electrical alarms/faults, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Respond and investigate BMS/EMS alerts, provide feedback on outstanding issues, and standby for emergencies.
• Support Data Center projects and alterations with coordination with external contractors and testing to meet timelines.
• Other duties as assigned consistent with role objectives.
• Ensure contracted SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Attend to customer requests and deliveries such as installations and move-in coordination.
• Involve in scheduling and completion of maintenance events for accreditation and compliance initiatives.
