Job summary
TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to monitor and operate our data centre network infrastructure on a 24/7 rotating shift. You will respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate break-fix activities to maintain high availability.
The role requires 1–3 years of network monitoring experience, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP). CCNA/JNCIA certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate data centre network infrastructure on a 24/7 rotating shift.
- Monitor network alerts and respond promptly to network incidents and faults.
- Troubleshoot network issues and elevate complex cases to senior engineers when required.
- Coordinate network break-fix activities, including switch replacement, link restoration and connectivity issues.
- Work with data centre technicians on basic physical network-related activities.
- Perform routine network maintenance and operational checks.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare daily network monitoring and operations reports.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure network issues are resolved efficiently.
- Ad hoc duties/ projects as assigned.
