Holy Innocents' HighSchool is seeking a FCE Assistant to support classroom activities and food preparation. The role runs from 4 January 2027 to 29 October 2027, with later option periods for 2028 and 2029. Work hours align with school days, primarily weekdays, with no work on weekends and certain holidays.

The ideal candidate will hold a GCE N-Level, be able to read/write/speak basic English, and hold a WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certification. Prior food-handling experience is preferred.

• GCE N-Level qualification.
• Ability to understand instructions and read, write and speak simple English for food preparation and classroom support.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or above throughout the contract, with knowledge of food preparation and safety.
• At least one year of relevant food-handling experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare crockery and ingredients for cookery classes and assist teachers with distribution to students.
• Clean equipment and crockery after lessons and store them appropriately at the end of the working day.
• Keep worktops and floors clean after each lesson and at the end of the day.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Subject Head or HOD overseeing the department.

Job position: FCE Assistant

Salary range: 1800-2300

Name of Authority: Holy Innocents' HighSchool

Contract Period: 4 January 2027 to 29October 2027; commencement is after issuance of the Letter of Acceptance iflater.

Option period: 3 January 2028 to 27October 2028; 2 January 2029 to 26 October 2029.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of a one‑hour lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays,gazetted public holidays, the first three weeks of the June holidays, orNovember and December school holidays.
• Service also not required on Youth Day, eve ofTeachers' Day, Teachers' Day, eve of National Day, or the Thanksgiving and Award Presentation Ceremony.

Requirements:
