Job summary

MediaTek is seeking a talented engineer to implement ARM-based CPUs on flagship smartphone products in a cutting-edge IC design environment. The role involves driving the full VLSI flow from RTL to GDSII, including synthesis, floorplanning, automated place & route, and physical verification, as well as performing STA modeling with on‑chip process variation considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Electrical/Computer/Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Good knowledge of CPU architecture and design.
• Interest in exposing to real-world IC design flows and advanced semiconductor technology (4nm and below).

Responsibilities

• Implement ARM-based CPU on latest smartphone products.
• Complete IC Design VLSI flow from RTL to GDSII (Synthesis, Floorplan, Auto Place & Route, Physical Verification).
• Perform Static Timing Analysis (STA) on CPU design and model on On-Chip Process Variation.
