TALENTBOLT in Singapore is offering a phased Bunker Cargo Officer track: Phase A (Trainee), Phase B (Junior Officer), Phase C (Officer). Trainees receive hands-on guidance from senior officers and are enrolled in external courses to earn SS 648:2024 and SS 600:2014 certifications.
Phase A pays SGD 2,500 base plus SGD 500 allowance monthly; Phase B totals SGD 3,500; Phase C totals SGD 4,500 as the program progresses. Completion after 2 years secures the full officer role with a bond.
New trainees will receive hands-on training under the guidance of experienced bunker cargo officers and a cargo superintendent. Trainees will also be enrolled in external courses to obtain certification aligned with SS 648:2024 and SS 600:2014 standards. The typical work rotation is 3 days on board followed by 3 days of shore leave, though this may be adjusted based on training needs and vessel schedules.
Compensation: SGD 2,500 monthly base salary plus SGD 500 monthly allowance (Singapore Citizens/PRs).
Trainees who successfully complete their training and obtain the required certifications will be promoted to Junior Bunker Cargo Officer between months 7 and 18. In this role, they are expected to carry out their duties independently or with minimal oversight.
Compensation: SGD 3,500 monthly total package (salary + allowance) (Singapore Citizens/PRs).
Candidates who complete the full 2-year program and are assessed as suitable will be confirmed as full-fledged Bunker Cargo Officers.

Note: Trainees who obtain the required certifications but resign within 1 year of service will be liable to reimburse the company for 50% of the training costs incurred.
