Job summary

StarChamps Hougang is seeking a part-time Centre Operations & Student Care Executive to warmly welcome families and keep daily programmes running smoothly.

You will handle walk-ins, calls, and emails, guide parents on course fit, and manage the enrolment journey from registration to fee collection. The role requires bilingual English/Mandarin, 2+ years in customer service, and a flexible, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer service role
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin for liaising with Mandarin-speaking parents
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and everyday tech
• A team player with warmth around children, parents, and teachers
• Available at least 2-3 weekdays weekly, 11am-7.15pm or 12.15pm-9.15pm
• Prior teaching experience a plus
• Able to start August 2026, 1 week training required

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for walk-ins, calls, and email enquiries and turn interest into enrolment
• Guide prospective parents through courses and consult on best fit for their child
• Keep daily class operations running—attendance, classroom assignments, and scheduling
• Own the full student enrolment journey, from registration to fee collection
• Supervise homework and spelling practice for Primary 1-6 students
• Liaise between tutors, parents, and students for timing changes and day-to-day matters
• Help capture the energy of classes through photos and content for marketing
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-run centre
• Jump in wherever needed—every day brings something different

What we're looking for

• Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years in a customer service role - an advantage, not a dealbreaker
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (you'll be liaising with Mandarin-speaking parents on enrolment and fees)
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and everyday tech
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and genuine warmth around children, parents, and teachers
• Available at least 2-3 weekdays weekly, 11am-7.15pm or 12.15pm-9.15pm
