Job summary

Ambition Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. (SG) is seeking a 12-months Field Support Technician (Convertible) in the Tuas area to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical panels and control systems. The role requires hands-on problem solving and will travel between venues to rectify issues.

The candidate should have a Diploma or higher and be capable of reading basic mechanical drawings and schematics. A willingness to travel and support onsite installations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and identify faults in electrical panels, control systems, and electrical assemblies.
• Perform corrective actions, repairs, and component replacements using approved tools, equipment, and work methods.
• Refer to and interpret assembly drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and relevant technical documentation when carrying out troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Safely connect and disconnect a variety of electrical cables, wiring harnesses, test interfaces, and related equipment.
• Accurately record troubleshooting findings, repair activities, and corrective actions through computerized systems, forms, photographs, and video documentation where applicable.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including electronic and hard-copy records.
• Prepare and submit repair and troubleshooting reports on the same day that repairs are completed.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and identify faults in electrical panels, control systems, and electrical assemblies.

Perform corrective actions, repairs, and component replacements using approved tools, equipment, and work methods.

Refer to and interpret assembly drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and relevant technical documentation when carrying out troubleshooting and repair activities.

Safely connect and disconnect a variety of electrical cables, wiring harnesses, test interfaces, and related equipment.

Accurately record troubleshooting findings, repair activities, and corrective actions through computerized systems, forms, photographs, and video documentation where applicable.

Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including both electronic and hard-copy records.

Prepare and submit repair and troubleshooting reports on the same day that repairs are completed.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, with practical hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
• Diploma and above

Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical layout drawings and schematics.

Familiarity with Red Tag / Non-conformance tagging systems.

Ability to read and use quality checklists.

Comfortable to travel around to different venues to rectify issues

Basic Salary ranges from $3500 ~ $5500, this role comes with transport allowances
