Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Upper Changi.

You will assemble, repair and test electrical and pneumatic components, following schematics and work orders, and record progress in our systems. The role requires good problem-solving skills and accurate documentation, with a focus on quality and safety. Shifts include Morning, Noon and Night with monthly allowances; contract is 12 months with training and potential renewal.

Qualifications

• Assemble, repair and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix issues during the build process.
• Maintain records of progress, labor details and material usage in computer systems.
• May assist with programming, software installations and system repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble components.
• Perform electromechanical assembly tasks and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Use test fixtures and measurement tools to evaluate assembly performance.
• Record progress and job details in the company systems.
• Inspect parts for defects and assist with ensuring readiness for testing or repair.

Job description

Location: Upper Changi

Contract: 12 Months (renewable / convertible) - 3 months training

Working Days: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday to Thursday.

Salary: Up to $3,600 (basic) + Shift Allowance + Completion bonus

Permanent Shift: Extra $500/month and more and bus transport provided after shift!

Morning shift: 7:00AM - 4:30PM

Noon Shift: 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM (With $500+ Allowance/month)

Night Shift: 11:30 PM - 9:00 AM (With $700+ Allowance/month)

Job Description:

• Follows standard work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, and written or verbal instructions to assemble, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Performs electromechanical assembly tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs. Detects, diagnoses, and corrects errors during the build process.
• Uses test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to evaluate the performance of assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Records progress, labor details, and work-related information using computer systems.
• Receives and inspects parts, verifies that all required materials are available, and conducts audits to ensure readiness for assembly, testing, or repair. Checks components for defects and helps troubleshoot and improve related processes.
• May assist with computer programming, software installations, and system repairs as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Nitec Qualification
• Able to perform electro-mechanical assembly operations
• Troubleshooting, repair & maintenance and testing of pneumatic systems/ machines
• Working in clean room environment - may be exposed to high or small spaces, must be comfortable to squat for extended periods
