Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a 12 months Control Panel Assembly Technician in Tuas to fabricate, assemble and wire control panels and electrical enclosures in line with technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities include reading electrical schematics, mounting components, performing cable routing and ensuring compliance with safety standards; candidates should be able to use hand and power tools and work well in a team in Tuas with shuttle services provided.

Qualifications

• N Levels and above.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical standards is a plus.
• Good team player.
• Comfortable working in Tuas; shuttle services provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools and workshop equipment to fabricate, cut, drill, modify and assemble steel panels, electrical enclosures and related components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform physical mounting and installation of electrical and mechanical components using appropriate fasteners, brackets, hardware and mounting methods to ensure components are securely and accurately positioned.
• Assemble and wire electrical components, control panels and enclosures in accordance with provided electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.
• Carry out point-to-point wiring, termination and connection of electrical components, ensuring wiring is completed accurately and safely.
• Neatly route, bundle, label and secure wires and cables using appropriate cable management methods to maintain a clean, organized and professional panel layout.
