Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore seeks a hands-on Semiconductor Assembly Technician to join our advanced manufacturing team on a 12-hour shift. You will assemble, test and troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical products in a cleanroom-aligned environment, following precise instructions and diagrams.

This 12-month contract offers 4 days on / 3 off cycles, then 3 on / 4 off, with on-site work at Upper Changi. Fresh graduates and experienced technicians alike are welcome; training is provided and

Qualifications

• NITEC or higher diploma in related engineering disciplines.
• Experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings, schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on and mechanically/electrically inclined.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Able to work in a structured manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates and junior candidates with relevant technical backgrounds are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, work orders and technical instructions.
• Perform electro-mechanical testing, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Use electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and make necessary corrections.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Perform quality checks and audits on parts, assemblies and finished work.
• Record production progress, work details and testing information in computer systems.
• Support process and test improvements where required.
• Follow all safety, cleanroom and workplace procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
