MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE LTD has been contracted to deploy staff to North Vista Primary School for 2027, with an extension option to 2028. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities include area supervision, detention and community-service sessions, incident handling, and weekly student records for the Student Development Team. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, English proficiency, and experience with youth engagement.

Qualifications

• At least five N-Level passes including English (B or above) or three O-Level passes including English (C or above).
• Alternatively, five years of relevant youth work or social services experience, or as a former SPF officer.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging students with behavioural needs.
• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Excel for data entry and discipline reports.
• Video production skills are an advantage; experience in youth engagement preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct area supervision and walkabouts to support positive student behaviour.
• Supervise detention, reflection and community-service sessions in an orderly manner.
• Assist with incident management via conversations, records, and CCTV retrieval.
• Compile late-coming records and generate weekly reports for the Student Development Team.
• Support school events and student-development programmes, including after-school supervision.
• Maintain restorative approach and professional boundaries in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned during working hours.

Name of Authority: North Vista Primary School

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Option period: 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2028.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and school holidays.

Requirements:

• At least five N-Level passes, including English at grade B or above, or three O-Level passes, including English at grade C or above.
• Applicants without these qualifications may apply with at least five years of experience as a youth worker or working with children/youths in social services, or as a former Singapore Police Force officer, as stated in the tender.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage students with behavioural needs while maintaining clear expectations and professional boundaries.
• Competency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of Excel for data entry and discipline reports.
• Video-production skills are an advantage. Experience in child/youth/student engagement and management, or previous SPF service, is preferred.

Job Scopes:

1. Conduct area supervision and walkabouts within school and at nearby void decks and playgrounds to support positive student behaviour.
2. Supervise detention, reflection and community-service sessions in an orderly and meaningful manner.
3. Assist with incident management through preliminary conversations, compilation of school records and retrieval of CCTV footage.
4. Compile late-coming records and generate weekly reports for the Student Development Team.
5. Support school events and student-development programmes, including after-school supervision and attendance-taking.
6. Use a supportive, restorative approach and maintain professional boundaries in all student interactions.
7. Perform other duties assigned by School Leaders or Key Personnel during stipulated working hours.
