Job summary

Westwood Secondary School is seeking a Science Lab Assistant to support daily operation of science labs and school facilities, ensuring orderly and safe environments for lessons.

The role requires a GCE N-Level qualification or equivalent, and proficiency in English to follow instructions and coordinate laboratory tasks. Experience in cleaning or workspace maintenance, preferably in a lab or school, is desired.

Qualifications

Contract Period:

1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Option period:

1 January 2028 to 31 December 2028.

Working Hours:

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm; Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm. Each day includes a one-hour lunch break. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays. Flexibility may be required during examinations or special projects.
