Job summary

Comfort Hotel Gothenburg and OGBG, part of Strawberry Services AB, is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to deliver warm, efficient service in our Asian-inspired concept. You will take orders, serve guests, and ensure a smooth dining experience while maintaining high energy and a friendly vibe.

We value flexible, reliable individuals who communicate well, love guest service, and can handle busy dinner rushes with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in restaurant service or bar work is a plus.
• Comfort Hotel and Strawberry brand knowledge is helpful.
• Strong communication and guest relation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders with a smile and note dietary requests for the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while keeping service flow smooth.
• Be present, attentive, and friendly, answer questions about the menu.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen, bar team, and shift manager.
• Keep the restaurant clean, welcoming, and vibrant during the shift.

We’re now looking for a Waiter/Waitress who brings high energy, a warm smile, and a passion for great service without unnecessary fuss.

As part of our restaurant team, you’ll be at the heart of the atmosphere – ensuring every guest leaves happy, full, and eager to come back.

What You’ll Be Doing

Taking food and drink orders with a smile, keeping dietary requests and guest preferences clear and accurate for the kitchen.

Delivering food and beverages promptly, keeping the flow smooth and the energy high.

Being present, attentive, and friendly – answering questions about our Asian street food menu and making guests feel right at home.

Maintaining crisp communication with the kitchen, bar team, and shift manager.

Helping keep the restaurant clean, welcoming, and vibrant throughout the shift.

Details

Employment: Permanent position of 75% with the possibility of advancement to Head waiter at a later stage

Start date: To be agreed upon

Working hours: Varied shifts during evenings and weekends

Is This You?

Experience: Previous experience from restaurant service or bar work is a big plus.

Personality: Flexible, positive, and reliable with a genuine love for people and service.

Skills: Good communicator, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.

Under pressure: You stay cool, quick, and positive even during high-tempo dinner rushes.

Experience or interest in Asian cuisine, cocktails, and/or beverage pairing.

A quick-thinking, solution-oriented mindset.
