You will empower platforms and product teams with strong foundations, driving faster, safer software delivery while aligning with business goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, governance, and building communities of practice to sustain engineering excellence across Volvo Group's DTO division.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with leadership experience in software development.
• Strong background in modern software development practices.
• Ability to coach developers, tech leads and engineering managers.
• Experience establishing communities of practice and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication at technical and executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote modern software development standards and practices (DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native, security-by-design).
• Coach and support product and development teams to adopt new tools and methods.
• Develop enablement materials like playbooks and reference architectures, ensuring alignment with leadership goals.
• Build communities of practice across disciplines and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Define metrics to track adoption, maturity, and impact of practices and use data to improve outcomes.
