The CEO needs a trusted operator and strategic thinker at their side; someone who keeps the engine running, ensures the leadership team is aligned and accountable, and brings the analytical sharpness to develop strategy and growth opportunities. This is a rare role: part strategist, part operator, part right hand. You will be in the room where it happens, and you will make sure what’s decided in that room actually gets done.
You are the connective tissue between the CEO and the rest of the organisation. No two weeks will look the same. You own the operating cadence of the leadership team. You are a thinking partner and a doer. You prepare the materials the CEO needs – board decks, investor presentations, internal memos, briefings before key meetings. You know what’s going on across the business and help the CEO stay one step ahead. When they need a sounding board at short notice, you’re the call they make.
Significant years of experience across strategy consulting, corporate strategy/operations, scale-ups, finance, private equity, or M&A. A background in fast-moving environments, with a track record of owning important work end-to-end. Sharp, structured, and discreet - someone who handles sensitive information with maturity and takes pride in both the quality of the work and the reliability of the follow-through.
This is someone who can write a one-page briefing that actually changes how a leadership team thinks, and turn a messy discussion into a clear set of actions within the hour. They know when to push and when to listen – and they're not afraid of either.
