Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Vehicle Validation Engineer to join a Gothenburg-area project in the automotive sector. This hands-on role focuses on testing and validating active safety systems and automated vehicle functions, collaborating with feature owners, developers and customers to prepare, execute tests and document results.

The position is a 12-month consulting assignment for candidates with 1–5 years of experience, and requires Swedish language skills.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in vehicle testing, validation or verification.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience with Vector CANalyzer and/or CANoe.
• Experience with automotive logging and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of requirements-based testing.
• Be able to communicate in Swedish.
• Experience testing active safety or ADAS functions.

Job description

We're supporting a leading organisation within the automotive industry that is looking to add a Vehicle Validation Engineer to its growing team in the Gothenburg area.

This is a hands-on role focused on testing and validating active safety systems and automated vehicle functions. You'll be working closely with feature owners, developers and customers, preparing and executing vehicle tests, analysing results and helping improve future vehicle functionality.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-5 years of experience who enjoys practical testing, problem-solving and working directly with vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in vehicles and enjoys practical testing in real-world environments. You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, have a structured approach to problem-solving, and be motivated by understanding how complex vehicle systems behave under different conditions.

This is initially a 12-month consulting position, with the possibility of extension.
