Role Overview

GlobalLogic Sweden is looking for Verification and Validation Engineers to work on an automotive project in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role focuses on developing automated black‑box tests for automotive embedded software and testing high‑level vehicle functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive or similar.
• Valid Swedish or EU Driving license B.
• 5–10 years of experience in automotive verification and validation.
• Experience running automated tests on HIL rigs.
• Experience designing and executing automotive test scenarios.
• Experience with low‑level communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, Elektra).
• Python scripting for log analysis.
• Flashing and fault tracing in vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of the verification tool chain.
• Must be able to work full‑time onsite in Gothenburg (Torslanda area).

Meritorious Skills

• Matlab/Simulink experience.
• Programming skills in Python, C/C++/CAPL.
• Experience with ISO26262: FSA concepts.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Pytest.
• Experience testing automotive infotainment.
• Industry knowledge of bus communication.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated black‑box tests for automotive embedded software using the Vector environment.
• Perform system fault tracing with different knowledge groups.
• Enhance and extend existing CI/CD infrastructure.
• Participate in requirement creation, ensuring testability of requirements.
• Support various work groups and stakeholders by joining test sessions on rigs, vehicles, and boxcars.
• Work within an empowered agile team responsible for requirements, architecture, deployment, and testing.
