Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Sverige AB in Gothenburg is seeking Verification and Validation engineers with a strong automotive background to test and validate advanced vehicle systems, including driver-assistance and autonomous technologies.

You will perform vehicle tests, manage data, report deviations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, performance, and reliability throughout development and testing.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence (B required; C/CE is highly meritorious).
• Experience in automotive testing, V&V, or vehicle development.
• Experience driving passenger cars and/or heavy vehicles in test environments.
• Strong safety mindset with ability to stay focused during long test sessions.
• Good technical understanding of vehicle systems, sensors, and data tools.
• Valid Swedish work permit and/or Swedish residency.

Your role

We are looking for Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineers with strong background from the automotive industry, including heavy vehicles and passenger cars. In this role, you will work with testing, verification, and validation of advanced vehicle systems, including autonomous and driver‑assistance technologies. As a V&V Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicle functionality, safety, and system performance throughout the development and testing process.
