Job summary

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is actively seeking two experienced Vehicle Software Integration & Fault Tracing Engineers for a long-term automotive assignment in Sweden. The roles require hands-on engineering with embedded software integration, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.

On-site work is mandatory with immediate availability preferred. Competencies include CANoe/CANalyzer usage, SWDL tooling, and familiarity with vehicle networks.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in embedded software integration.
• Proven track record in fault tracing and root cause analysis.
• Experience with diagnostic tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer.
• Experience with SWDL tools for vehicle software updates.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle communication networks and architectures.
• Experience with collaboration tools like SystemWeaver, Jira or Confluence.
• Valid C or CE driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle software integration and updates.

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for two experienced Vehicle Software Integration & Fault Tracing Engineers for a long-term automotive engineering assignment in Sweden.

We are seeking hands‑on engineers with strong expertise in embedded software integration, vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges in automotive systems, we would like to hear from you!

• Perform vehicle software integration and software updates.
• Conduct embedded software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault tracing.
• Identify root causes of software-related issues in complex vehicle systems.
• Analyse vehicle communication, network behaviour, and system interactions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to vehicle electronics and embedded systems.
• Document findings and report results using established engineering tools and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Several years of hands‑on experience in embedded software integration.
• Proven experience in fault tracing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of complex embedded systems.
• Practical experience with diagnostic and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or equivalent.
• Experience with SWDL tools for vehicle software downloads and updates.
• Strong understanding of vehicle communication networks and embedded software architectures.
• Experience with engineering and collaboration tools such as SystemWeaver, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Valid C or CE driving licence.

Meritorious: Experience working with Linux environments.

• Work Mode: On‑site (remote work is not available)
• Expected Start Date: 26 October 2026
• Duration: Approximately 14 months
