Job summary

Integro-Consulting-Ab is seeking a Diagnostics Engineer for a client in the commercial vehicle sector. The role focuses on off-board diagnostics solutions, fault tracing, and calibration for aftermarket applications, working within an Agile development team.

The candidate should have strong embedded software experience in automotive environments, knowledge of Grade-X or aftermarket diagnostics tools, and fluent English. The position is 100% onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Job description

We are looking for a Diagnostics Engineer for our client of commercial vehicles.

Job Description

You will be part of the development team for off-board diagnostics solutions . Off-board solutions provide ways to fault trace, test and calibrate vehicles on aftermarket. This work requires a wide understanding of the complete platform, such as dependencies between functions and how end-user will interact with the tool and vehicle on aftermarket. Problem solving, adaptability, and creative solutions on a case to case basis are strengths that are considered very important in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Diagnostic Service Tool (both test and calibration) Operations
• Develop fault tracing steps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create optimal solutions for aftermarket
• Verify operations at test rig & complete vehicle
• Develop troubleshooting strategy for DTCs and symptoms that are considered relevant for machine/components within area of responsibility
• Contribute actively in an Agile development environment

Skills & Experiences required

• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software, within the automotive industry
• Work Experience with Grade-X or aftermarket diagnostics tools and aftermarket technology is a must
• Solid understanding of electrical systems architecture
• Strong background in complete vehicle level
• Ability to read, analyze, and implement engineering specifications
• Previous experience working in an Agile team setup
• Proficiency in English – both written and spoken
