Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for a challenging consulting assignment within the automotive industry.

We are seeking a senior technical specialist with strong expertise in embedded software development, system engineering, and functional development. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with system-level thinking, technical leadership, and the ability to drive quality and successful deliveries across complex automotive projects.

About the Role

You will take an active role in the development of embedded software applications, from requirements analysis and software design to implementation, testing, and verification. You will lead system engineering activities within a technical team, coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders, and ensure that software deliveries meet quality standards and are ready for release.

The role also involves contributing to early development phases, shaping technical roadmaps, influencing engineering practices across teams and sites, and supporting organizational competence development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Experience mentoring engineers, sharing knowledge, and providing technical guidance.
• Ability to connect technical solutions with product strategy, business objectives, and industry trends.
• A strong T-shaped technical profile, combining deep expertise in a specialist domain with broader engineering knowledge.
