Navigraph, based in central Stockholm, is seeking a UX Designer to join the Application Development Department. You will shape the user experience of aviation tools used by a global, passionate user base and work across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
You will own end-to-end UX processes, conduct research, design in Figma, prototype, validate, and refine features while contributing to our design system and collaborating with engineers to ensure scalable, high-quality user experiences.
We're looking for a UX Designer to join our Application Development Department in central Stockholm. This is an opportunity to shape the user experience of industry-leading aviation tools used by a large and passionate user base worldwide.
Navigraph is a Swedish SaaS company that provides the international flight simulation community with flight planning tools, navigation data, and aeronautical charts used in professional aviation. Our 1.7 million registered users care deeply about realism, procedures, and getting the details right.
We're a team of nearly 60, including software developers, UX and graphic designers, data analysts, content producers, motion designers, and support specialists. Navigraph was founded by Stephen O'Connell (CTO) and Magnus Axholt (CEO), both of whom are still active in the company. We've grown considerably but kept the collaborative, creative culture we started with.
Navigraph is privately held, profitable, and built on the principle that people come first. That means prioritizing product quality and employee satisfaction. Our employee NPS is 80, placing us in the top percentile across industries.
The problem space is unusual: professional aviation complexity, consumer-grade usability expectations, and platforms spanning mobile, web, desktop, and in-simulator environments, including VR. You won't find this combination elsewhere.
Bring research, make the case, change the direction!
You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience across Navigraph's product suite, from our flagship Charts app to desktop utilities and in-simulator interfaces. The work centers on information-dense, timing-sensitive interfaces where clarity directly affects the user experience under cognitive load. The challenges include showing the right information at the right moment while making complex workflows feel intuitive.
You’ll work hands-on throughout the end-to-end UX process; from framing complex problems and conducting research to designing, prototyping, validating, and refining features through to implementation. You'll also contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
You'll manage multiple UX initiatives across products and help build our user research infrastructure, including the behavioral analytics we're establishing across products.
You'd join the Charts Team within the Application Department as part of a small but growing design group. Design is embedded with engineering: same dailies, shared context, with dedicated time for UX-specific collaboration. You'd also participate in cross-department design councils, shaping how UX works across the company.
Our users are deeply engaged, active on forums and Discord, vocal about their needs, and genuinely invested in the product. Navigraph has become one of the most recognized brands in flight simulation by listening to and serving this community. As a designer, you'll have direct access to user feedback and a user base that cares intensely about getting the details right.
Navigraph is built on an open, caring culture where people genuinely come first. The structure is flat, leadership is hands-on, and flexibility is based on trust. Innovation and creativity aren't just tolerated, they're expected. You'll join a team that genuinely enjoys what they do and takes pride in setting the standard for what flight simulation tools can be.
